This project was for an exciting North East studio called the bang.co who specialise in UI, UX and branding. Figma was used to design an app that engages young people to donate to charities.
This is done by creating trust between the app and the user, with a feed directly showing the impact of the users donations for each charity. There are also various factors of authentication when signing up for both charities and users.
The app also engages the user by creating rewards for donating or being part of the community by sharing and interacting in different causes.
When designing the app, the focus has been to design an interface that is user-centred, using traditional UI elements and easy navigation for quick accessibility.
With all the charities in one app and suggestions for new charities suited to each user, the process to donate or find new causes has never been quicker.
The design approach is to create a user interface that is bold, striking and engaging for the user. The use of this eye-catching detail and animation within the wave pattern brings the brand to life. The logo being built from 3 components helps to create a rememberable icon for the user.
